Rainbow Disco Club returns to Desa Potato Head on Friday, 25 April, and Saturday, 26 April. The fourth in our ongoing collaboration sees Rainbow Disco Club take over Potato Head for two days and nights of hyper-eclectic sounds and sights, with some of Japan’s most renowned artists and a selection of global talents playing alongside our resident DJs. On Friday 25 April, Potato Head Beach Club plays host the the RDC stage, with Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Call Super. Archie B2B Gonno, Monkey Timers, and Munir B2B Varumi bringing their diverse musical textures to the shores of the Indian Ocean. Augmenting the music at the Beach Club will be laser and lighting from Yamachang, tsukemen style ramen from Tsubame, and special edition RDC merchandise. The weekend event also includes a Klymax Discotheque takeover, with Rainbow Disco Club residents Sisi and Kikiorix joining Gonno in the booth on Friday night, before Chicago legend Ron Trent returns for an all night set on Saturday 26. Japan’s Rainbow Disco Club is one of the world’s most respected and best-loved underground music festivals. With a borderless approach to culture, music, and genre, the event is revered for its inspired sonic curation, inclusive atmosphere, and multi-sensory production. The Warehouse Project will again take over the dynamic PICA in Melbourne this April. Featuring globally acclaimed artists alongside some of Australia’s freshest talent, Partiboi69 will head up this year’s event, bringing his highly sought after Area 69 concept to Sydney and Melbourne. Blending his cutting-edge computer-animated visuals with sounds from Electro Dank, Ghetto Freak, and K-Tech, Partiboi69's live mixes are technologically advanced and visually stimulating. Partiboi69 will be joined by one of Europe’s most wanted underground artists, vinyl wizard and high-energy selector Héctor Oaks, alongside Serbian-born, Brooklyn-based multi-genre producer X-Coast, rapper and techno artist Miss Bashful and Sydney-based DJ and creative Carla Martinez.

Over a year in the making, Greenhouse Ikigai’s first venture into an outdoor setting – the iconic Fairfield Amphitheatre. We're excited to introduce you to International Mac & Tau Car, two of the finest exports from the European electronic music scene. After having heard great things and immaculate sets online over the years, we first heard them in the flesh during our trip to Dimensions 2024, where we witnessed their two hour masterclass set and realised we had to bring them to Australian shores. Both with solo showcases on The Mudd Show, Mac & Car have distinct sounds that come together under the umbrella of funk laden house and techno. We welcome these two as a part of their debut Australian tour which was organised in collaboration with other crews from NSW and SA. We're equally excited to welcome Alex Albrecht, local hero, co-founder of Analogue Attic, and certifiable live producer. Pairing punchy drums and dreamy synths, Alex frames his productions with original field recordings, helping to create dancefloor moments that feel perfectly endless. An Alex Albrecht live set is a treat wherever you happen to catch it, but it's best enjoyed outdoors on a proper system. Check and check. Backing it up at the Fairfield Amphitheatre is Hannah D and Nat Salih for their first B2B ever. Both proliferate DJ's, expect playful and techy rhythms as day turns to night, setting the scene prior to the International Mac & Tau Car crescendo. As usual, Ikigai residents Kithers & Krit kick off the proceedings for the inaugural Greenhouse. Get down early to enjoy a drink with us on the Amphitheatre's cobblestone steps. Ikigai would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay respect to elders past present, sovereignty was never ceded. American post-rock greats This Will Destroy You are marking their 20th anniversary this year and they’ve announced an April 2025 tour performing their 2008 self-titled album in full for the occasion, along with songs from throughout their catalogue. The band will return to Australia for the first time in 10 years, playing shows in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. On this tour they will be joined by Perth instrumental trio Yomi Ship, fresh from a European tour alongside Plini and performing at ArcTanGent Festival in the UK, as well as popular Sydney emo quartet Mowgli, on the cusp of releasing their debut album in 2025. Formed in San Marcos, Texas, TWDY has enjoyed a meteoric rise since the release of their debut ‘Young Mountain’ in 2006. Since then they have earned critical plaudits and notched up worldwide sales over 100,000 copies for their catalogue, including 2008’s follow-up full length “S/T” and several EP’s (2009’s “Field Studies,” 2010’s “Moving on the Edges of Things” and “Communal Blood”). The abyss of endless touring and isolation on the road became the catalyst for the band’s third album, “Tunnel Blanket”. While previous albums managed to strike a universal chord of human hope and near-optimism toward the future, “Tunnel Blanket” reflects the dark and intricate sides of human emotion, grief, and tragedy. After the release of a cathartic live album, recorded in Rekjavik, Iceland, the band bunkered down for the release of their fourth full length album, ‘Another Language’, featuring pulsating washes of sound blended with an undeniable beauty of composition. Known for their destructive live sound and influential brand of ambient, melodic instrumental rock (dubbed ‘doom-gaze’ in recent times), the band recently announced they would be splitting into two touring line ups each led by one of their co-founding guitarists, Jeremy Galindo and Christopher King. This Australian tour lineup will be led by co-founding guitarist Jeremy Galindo and will also feature fellow Texas musicians Ethan Billips (Body Tape, Blank Hellscape), Johnnie McBryde and Nicholas Huft (Dismissal). The same line up recently completed an extensive North American tour and headlining tour of Europe, including Belgium’s prestigious Dunk Festival and Indiana’s Post Festival. After several sell out shows on their maiden tour of Australia in 2013, This Will Destroy You captured the minds and hearts of a loyal following on this side of the world. A decade ago, Ellie May Locke burst onto the Sydney scene as 'Lazy Suzan' and quickly established herself as a boundary-pushing DJ with a keen ear and great mixing skills. Following a stint living in Japan, traveling/DJing to places as far-flung as BC, Canada, and along Australia's East Coast, Ellie has returned to Eora as Suzu. As an artist who adheres to the underground ethos of never limiting herself, Suzu will bring some of her unpredictable musical magic to Evergreen Daze.
