Joyland Festival Bali 2024

March 1, 2, 3

So, the dazzling success of the Joyland Festival Jakarta 2023 at the GBK Baseball Stadium apparently left everyone so inspired that they decided, "Why not grace the serene shores of Bali next year?" Cue the drumroll for Joyland Festival Bali 2024, set to enchant the unsuspecting Nusa Dua in Badung from March 1-3, 2024. It's the third round of this extravaganza on the Island of the Gods, because, you know, three times a charm, right? And because just saying "Bali" isn't enough, they're flaunting Kings of Convenience, a folk duo from Norway, as their confirmed act. Brace yourselves for the other performers who will be unveiled whenever they feel like it. Oh, but don't think you can casually stroll into this musical paradise. The presale tickets flew off the virtual shelves faster than you can say "folk music." First and second sessions are gone, folks, gone! But fear not, you still have a shot at the remaining 3 presale tickets, conveniently available in two flavors: 3-Day Pass for a modest IDR 788,000 and VIP 3-Day Pass for the VIPs among us, priced at a bargain IDR 1,188,000. And because they want you to start planning your year-end celebrations early, presale 3 ticket sales wrap up on December 31 at the precise time of 23.59 WIB. Blink and you'll miss it – just like you missed those first two sessions. Now, let's all take a moment to soak in the profound words of Ferry Dermawan, the Program Director, who's so graciously thanking everyone for the success. "Thank you, artists, for sweating it out on stage. Kudos to the crew, staff, traders, and partners – you're the real MVPs. But most importantly, thank you, dear audience. Without you, we'd be less fabulous than a silent disco in a library." And there you have it, folks – the Joyland saga continues!

Rezz and deadmau5 Are Working on a Revamped Version of 2012 Classic, "Superliminal"

26 Jun 2023

After going toe to toe in their first-ever collaboration, 2021's "Hypnocurrency," Rezz and deadmau5 are gearing up for round two. It's tough to believe it's been over two years since they teamed up for "Hypnocurrency," a midtempo masterstroke that masterfully blended their signature sounds. But the wait will soon be over after Rezz announced they're hitting the studio to produce another track. Taking to Twitter to share a clip of her playing "Hypnocurrency" live, Rezz also teased its follow-up. "It's time to make another one @deadmau5 see you next week," she wrote. Rezz ultimately revealed that the new collab will be a reworked version of "Superliminal," a deadmau5 classic that dropped back in 2012. It's the opening track of his sixth studio album, > album title goes here <. deadmau5 is a close friend and mentor of Rezz, who has released many records on the former's venerated mau5trap imprint. They're now preparing to perform live together for the very first time at Toronto's Veld Music Festival, where they'll debut as "Rezzmau5."
