The Operatives maintain their 20 years strong movement with 2 leading purveyors of dance Saint Ludo and Manara. Local guns Courtesy Call, D Tyrone and C000KIE round up the lineup. Saint Ludo is a London-based DJ who mixes a wide variety of genres, mainly a blend of rap-inspired UK bass and party-starters at 140bpm, in her high energy sets.Raised on hip-hop – and then grime – rap vocals are the predominant element in her mixes, which are tied together by UK bass, UK techno, UKG, jungle and more uptempo club genres – making her mixing a unique blend of vocal samples placed over unexpected beats and instrumentals. Many DJs want to pull off mind-blowing blends, but few execute them like Manara. When she plays, you’ll hear thrilling combinations of deep-cut rave tunes, South Asian classical and contemporary music, catchy pop vocals, and steamy dancefloor bangers — all mixed with intuitive, dextrous skill.
