Welcome to the season ender of our Kino Grande 2023/2024 series! This has been a huge year hosting an array of sounds from around the world and a huge thanks to all of the dancers who have continuously shown up to keep the party going. So, we would like to give back with a FREE EVENT for our closing, featuring one of our head honchos, MINOR CIRCUIT, to properly celebrate the release of his forthcoming EP on SONIK-INO, ‘PUMP ON IT’ (SOKI002). Join us for a night of house, techno, breaks, electro, jungle/DnB, and everything weird In between. MINOR CIRCUIT (Australia/Scotland) is an underground electronic music project from Iain Yes. It’s impossible to pin down the sound of MINOR CIRCUIT sets to one genre, as he weaves together a twisted melting pot of electronic music, combining sounds of the worldwide underground. Inspired by music from across the globe, MINOR CIRCUIT shuffles between Techno, Acid, Broken Beat, Ghetto, Footwork, Jungle, and everything in between. Iain has racked up over 1000 shows under multiple aliases around the world, playing alongside some bigger names in the scene. Focusing most of his time in the studio now, he has had multiple releases and remixes on labels such as Nein Recordings (Berlin), Roller Blaster Recordings (UK) and SONIK-INO (AU). With an ever growing selection of exclusive originals and edits in the bag, no two always improvised sets will ever sound the same.
