Refuge invites Sarah Dinh

this week we are thrilled to be inviting one of the most unique and exciting voices within our local art community to host a night of magic in the basement: Sarah Dinh Sarah has been a consistent figure across the creative landscape in Meanjin over the last few years, and has firmly established herself as one of the most idiosyncratic artists within our community. Whether it be through her long running zine series, or her many contributions to local exhibits, Sarah is a beautiful and consistent presence. We cannot wait to see what she brings to the basement! refuge invites is a platform for some of our community’s finest organisers, noise makers and selectors, and takes place on the unceded sovereign lands of the turrbal & yuggera peoples—they were the first storytellers, dancers & musicians here, and we can only truly honour them by leading a life of social disruption and equalisation.
