For our next party, we’re joined by someone we’ve had on our radar and in our record collections for a long time now, well before even starting Proto Exotica, so we’re so excited to be joined by one of Australia’s best, Jura Soundsystem! Since 2016, Adelaide’s Kevin Griffiths, aka Jura Soundsystem, has been enchanting the Australian music scene with his lush, laidback tracks and deepcut reissues through his Isle of Jura label. From his early house days with @tsubarecords to his eclectic fusions of proto-house, dub, and balearica, Griffiths journey has been connecting the dots between these old forgotten gems and styles. Downstairs lineup: Sammy Sanchez Rah Kuta As a gentle reminder, Angel Upstairs is a small and intimate space. We want everyone who attends to have a safe and responsible dance.
