Styles like hard house, trance, progressive house and tech house are absorbed effortlessly into his timeless productions, which simultaneously highlights his insatiable drive to uncover forgotten sounds that makes his DJ sets a crucial listen/dance. His unique journey has attracted significant attention locally and beyond. Fio debuted in 2017 with Sunday Pledge, a neat 2 tracker for the then nascent Pear label he co-runs with Jio. Following two more records on his own imprint, he made a further splash on labels Duality Trax and Radiant Records. 2022 saw him set up his own solo imprint titled Sunset Drifters, with a 4 track eponymous EP of rolling prog magic. Following such a vibey last party, we knew we had to keep the energy up - Fio Fa came quickly to mind! On the local program we’re lucky enough to have Ebbs N Flow performing live following their recent stellar Kalahari release, along with Venus Flytrap to round out the selectors for the evening.
