OCTANE RETURNS SATURDAY 8TH JUNE WITH ROTTERDAM HEAVYWEIGHT NONEOFTHEABOVE WITH A 3 HOUR EXTENDED SET IN THE SUB CLUB BASEMENT NONEOFTHEABOVE: Yori is a DJ and Producer from Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has been producing technosince his mid-teens but it wasn't until 2015 that he played his first show asNoneoftheabove. Noneoftheabove represents "Straight forward techno", as he likes tocall it, paired with industrial, acid and one of his main sources of inspiration: schranz, amerciless type of techno born in Germany in the first half of the 90s. He sees electronicmusic as a tool for breaking limits, always aspiring to create new innovative ways not justin the studio but also as a DJ. Valuing the difficult art of actually getting people to dance,he comes as an experienced artist, handling festival and club venues globally with aprecise manner, preferring to fill his sets with the same kind of raw energy as his ownproductions. In 2016, he launched TheAbove Records, a platform to share his ownvision of electronic music, choosing sharply curated non-genre bound tracks influencedby the same hard, machine-driven, infected techno he loves. 2023 will also be his debut year at Awakenings, Tomorrowland and Extrema Outdoor, and he will also takepart in other large scale events such as Rave Rebels, Hive Festival or SunriseFestival making him one of the new young promises of the techno scene.
