Charity fundraising series LOOM debuts at Bourke St Courtyard this October, for a night weaving together culture, connection and dance. Presented by Tjum Tjumba and Contrast Radio, the event features an all–First Nations lineup headlined by Yikes, Dameeeela, and Mikalah Watego, with support from WVCHWY, pvrtal, FAF and TREY. Expect a night of powerful, forward-driving sounds that celebrate the creativity and leadership of First Nations artists in electronic music. All profits from LOOM will go directly to Children’s Ground, a First Nations organisation leading a 25-year vision for change driven by communities themselves — ensuring the next generation grows up strong in identity, culture, and opportunity. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we dance & host this event, we pay respects to their Elders past & present, and we acknowledge their sovereignty was never ceded.
