Market 755 and Mélange is pleased to present The Heart Shaped Aces for their 'EP' Launch at the infamous Gasometer Hotel, alongisde up-and-coming talent of Bubba B2B Mélanger le Miel and Pretty Moi. The Heart Shaped Aces are born out of a passionate collaborative liaison and enduring friendship between Oscar Robson and Charlie Swansson. The duo put their debut single out in August 2023 and have since been keeping busy, playing shows in their hometown Melbourne and honing in on their artistry both sonically and visually. With their sound rooted in bands from the heyday of British guitar music from the 80s and 90s as well as some contemporary cult-following giants like The 1975 and Lana Del Rey, The Heart Shaped Aces sound is a homage to classic songwriting sensibilities and singalong hooks.Having recently completed a residency at Nighthawks, the duo is preparing for the release of an EP and a follow-up single over the next few months, which will culminate in a headline show at The Gaso in May. Formed in Brisbane and now based in Melbourne, Pretty Moi is a six-piece indie-rock band that defies genres and delivers a blend of sounds in a high-energy format. With inspirations honing from 60s psychedelic rock and soul, embark on a journey with one of Naarm's future greats. Mélanger le Miel is a pianist and DJ from Switzerland and New Zealand. Currently residing in Melbourne, 'Sebastian' has joined the Aces and neo-soul/Electronica collective Flavour. A producer and performer, Mélanger le Miel engages with numerous genres of House, Disco, UKG and Jungle with Piano sounds at the center of it all. Founder of Mélange Records and artist network, Mélanger le Miel goes B2B with a close friend 'Bubba' after their previous 100% UK electronic music produced mix on Area 3000 Radio. Bubba is known for his undeniable song selection and ability to captivate an audience with relics of Hard House, Disco, and everything in between. With an arsenal of established performances at some of Melbourne's finest institutions including Her Music Room and Section 8, 'Campbell' brings forth a hand-picked selection of wizard-esque mixing and records from some of the very best Electronic music has to offer.
