Building a steady reputation as an underground live act in the Naarm/Melbourne circuit, FAIRTRADE NARCOTICS continue to grow their expansive discography with the arrival of their self-titled album, launching at The Toff on Friday 9th August. The band have received a landslide of radio support on stations such as PBS FM, FBi, 4ZZZ, 2SER, RTRFM and Edge Radio for their lead singles Jojoba and Cerulean, and notably a weekly feature as the Wild One on ABC’s Rage for their captivating one-shot music video Cerulean. Comprising 9 tracks, the FAIRTRADE NARCOTICS album dabbles in modern jazz, psychedelia and progressive rock - interspersed with textural, instrumental segues that highlight the band’s dynamic trumpet/trombone horn section, dueling guitars and Kymberley’s distinct vocal styling.
