CONTENT.NET.AU presents Scintii (TW), CORIN (DJ), Jex Wang & Blood Lotus

CONTENT.NET.AU will be hosting this intimate debut Narrm/Melbourne performance with Taiwanese electronic pop songwriter Scintii (Houndstooth Records). Supports from Jex Wang (Eastern Margins), Ryan Fennis & Voidhood and Blood Lotus. Hailing from Taiwan, singer-producer Scintii (Houndstooth Records) makes melancholic 21st century electronic pop, blurring the margins of experimental, club and synthesiser music. Her breakthrough single ‘Times New Roman’ produced by Danny L Harle (PC Music, Charli XCX) was released via SVBKVLT in 2018. In January 2024, Scintii has returned with the EP ‘‘wetlands, harbours and stations in between’, drawing from her time spent across London and Shanghai. CORIN is an electronic music producer, DJ and performer working in the field of performance art, sound design, theatre and club spaces. Her productions are an assemblage of converging styles moving somewhere between IDM, EBM, trance, and baroque-laden ambience. As a DJ, CORIN has appeared at respected venues such as Final (Taipei) and Garage Noord (Amsterdam). She is also a regular monthly host on NTS Radio. Blood Lotus (aka Hannah Wu) will be debuting tracks from her upcoming album slated for release on CONTENT.NET.AU in 2024. Shapeshifting beats, scaffolded by oscillating synths and intimate vocals. Jex Wang, Melbourne-based DJ and member of UK collective Eastern Margins, closes the night with a rare DJ set exploring the moodier, abstract and experimental cuts from her record collection.
