Body High returns to the Section 8 container this May, with special guest Residual Birth (USA). Residual Birth is a DJ and hardware performer blending cathartic groove, from techno, proggy house, trance, breakbeat, dub, and leftfield elements. Informed by the multi-genre cohesion of the Oakland noise scene and underground raves of the Bay Area, Residual Birth reflects on joy, rage, and revelry. As a member of the underground rave collective Sonic Provisions, he has been instrumental in organising parties in alleyways, forests, warehouses, parking structures, freeway underpasses, and the occasional above-ground venue. Joined by Body High residents to bring you something for your body & mind.
